The book is great to browse and dip into. The recipes and methods are really clearly explained, and now there is a troubleshooting page on the website it will help anyone, unsure whether the method is working for them? I particularly like the tips and information about fermenting (page104).
I have learned so much from Laurence over the years, regarding nutrition and fermenting.,and this book has much of this info and more, tips for foods to help the digestive and immune system
Kombucha, kefir, sauerkraut and Kimchi have now become regulars in our diet. I love trying new things.
The Kombucha pickled eggs are delicious.
There are lots of ideas for using wild foraged foods, like nettles and wild garlic, dandelion leaves?
It’s well worth buying this book while waiting for events, I find lots of ideas for changing up old recipes into healthier ones. (like Kimchi omelette) omelette are also good with sauerkraut!
